ประเทศไทยยังคงมีฝนฟ้าคะนองเกิดขึ้นได้ โดยมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งบริเวณภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย ประกอบกับมีหย่อม ความกดอากาศต่ำปกคลุมประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน สำหรับบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยมีคลื่นสูง 1-2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร อนึ่ง พายุไต้ฝุ่น “เมขลา” บริเวณมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิกหรือด้านตะวันออกของเกาะไต้หวัน มีแนวโน้มเคลื่อนตัวไปทางตอนใต้ของประเทศญี่ปุ่น โดยพายุนี้ไม่เคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประเทศไทย
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนองและฝนที่ตกสะสมในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง
