The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa

Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Scott and Clinton Counties.

  • WHAT: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

  • WHERE: Wapsipinicon River near Anamosa Shaw Rd.

  • WHEN: Until Thursday morning.

  • IMPACTS: At 17.1 feet, Buffalo and Walnut Creeks begin backing up impacting local roads. 42nd Street west and east of Olin are closed.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 16.5 feet.
    • Forecast: The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.4 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday evening.
    • Flood stage is 14.5 feet.
