Most of our Android users have probably already noticed that we have developed a new Android app, which is now fully functional and available for download in the Google PlayStore.
This update brings the following changes:
- We have changed the technology in the app's background, leading to faster loading times.
- Widget enhancements, and new widget sizes.
- You can now select the background image/colour of the map. For example, you can choose between a picture that
visualizes the current weather situation for the selected location or a simple dark blue background.
- The app requires less storage space on your smartphone.
- Some standard Android patterns are considered, like "pull" to refresh locations or "swipe" to delete locations in your list of last visited locations.
- Locations can be directly changed on the map or radar.
This update brings our app to the latest level of technology and enables plenty of options for adding new features in the future.
