El marcador del lugar se coloca en Majuro. Esta animación muestra el radar de precipitación para el intervalo de tiempo seleccionado, así como una previsión de 2h. Las cruces naranjas indican rayos. Datos proporcionados por nowcast.de (disponibles en EE.UU., Europa y Australia). La llovizna o una ligera nevada pueden ser invisibles para el radar. La intensidad de la precipitación está codificada por colores, del turquesa al rojo.
La imagen de satélite en tiempo real se aprovecha de la combinación de bandas de la luz visible y de la luz infrarroja. Cómo se pueden detectar cambios de temperaturas a través de la banda infrarrojo, la imagen no aparece oscura de noche. No obstante, la niebla y las nubes bajas son apenas visibles en las imágenes de infrarrojo ya que las diferencias de temperaturas entre el suelo y la niebla son muy pequeñas, por eso, son casi invisibles durante la noche. Las imágenes de satélite del Meteosat (Europa) son actualizados en tiempo real cada 5 minutos. Las imágenes del GOES-16/GOES-17 (América del Norte y América del Sur) y Himawari (Asia) son actualizadas cada 10 minutos.
