This is a Manitoba Emergency Alert. Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure's Hydrologic Forecast Centre has issued an Overland Flood Watch due to forecast precipitation for parts of Manitoba. A system may bring 60 to 80 mm of rain between June 28 and July 2, more precipitation possible in localized areas. Heavy rainfall over a short period may lead to high surface runoff and overland flooding.
If you are in the affected area, be mindful of local waterways. Do not attempt to cross fast flowing waters or waters of unknown depth. Avoid flooded areas.
