TROPICAL STORM JOSIE IS NOW INSIDE THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY. Location of eye/center : The center of Tropical Storm JOSIE was estimated based on all available data at at 1,085 km East of Eastern Visayas (13.0, 134.6). Strength : Maximum winds of 65 kph near the centerand gustiness of up to 80 kph. Forecast movement : Forecast to move Northwestward at 25 kph Forecast position : Jul 14, 2026 02:00 PM - 1,125 km East of Southeastern Luzon Jul 15, 2026 02:00 AM - 1,485 km East of Southeastern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) Jul 15, 2026 02:00 PM - 1,555 km East of Central Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND AREAS Heavy Rainfall Outlook JOSIE is less likely to directly affect the weather condition of the country throughout the forecast period. Severe Winds The Southwest Monsoon will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds): Today: Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro. Tomorrow (15 July): Ilocos Region, Abra, Apayao, Zambales, Bataan, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands. Thursday (16 July): Ilocos Region, Abra, Apayao, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands. HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 3.0 m: The western seaboards of Babuyan Islands and Pangasinan; the seaboards of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and La Union. Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced of operating ill-equipped vessels. Up to moderate to rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 2.5 m: The remaining seaboard of Pangasinan; the seaboards of Batanes and Zambales; the western seaboards of Bataan, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Islands. Up to 2.0 m: The remaining seaboards of Babuyan Islands; the southern seaboard of Bataan; the northern seaboards of mainland Cagayan, Calamian Islands, and Kalayaan Islands. Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions. Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m. TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone. JOSIE will move generally northward until tomorrow (15 July) before turning northeastward throughout the remaining forecast period. It is forecast to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by tonight or tomorrow morning. JOSIE is forecast to steadily weaken into a tropical depression within the next 12 hours and may further weaken into a low pressure area by tomorrow due to unfavorable environment.

Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "JOSIE" {HAISHEN} was estimated based on all available data at 1,095 km East of Eastern Visayas (12.9°N, 134.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. It is moving Northwestward at 25 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of Northern Luzon. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. WATERCOURSES NO LONGER TO BE AFFECTED : + **Bataan** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Balanga and Morong. + **Zambales** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Pamatawan, Sto. Tomas, Bucao, Bancal and Lawis.
