The monsoon trough lies across, the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand and Laos into the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Tonkin bay while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with isolated heavy rain while very heavy rain in someplaces of the North, the Central, the East and the South (West coast). People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The strengthening wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the upper Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas.
ร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบนและประเทศลาว เข้าสู่หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำบริเวณ ประเทศเวียดนามตอนบนและอ่าวตังเกี๋ย ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย ลักษณะเช่นนี้ทำให้ ประเทศไทยมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยบริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคกลาง ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้(ฝั่งตะวันตก) มีฝนตกหนักมากบางพื้นที่ ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่มไว้ด้วย สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนและอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีกำลังปานกลาง โดยมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร ขอให้ชาวเรือในบริเวณดังกล่าวเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวังและหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย
