Due to hot temperatures, sufficient sunshine, and southerly winds, the air quality index is expected to reach the UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS level. People with lung disease (such as asthma), children, older adults, and people who are active outdoors (including outdoor workers) should reduce prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion.

At 607 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong gust front, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 13 nm west of Port Washington to near Bayside to near Whitefish Bay, moving northeast at 30 knots.

At 607 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong gust front, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 13 nm west of Port Washington to near Bayside to near Whitefish Bay, moving northeast at 30 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
