HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND AREAS Severe Winds The Southwest Monsoon will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds): Today until Saturday (22 August): Most of Luzon and Visayas, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga del Norte. HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 4.0 m: The western seaboards of Batanes and Babuyan Islands. Up to 3.5 m: The seaboards of Ilocos Norte; the remaining seaboards of Batanes. Up to 3.0 m: The seaboards of Ilocos Sur and Zambales; the western seaboard of Pangasinan; the northwestern seaboard of Kalayaan Islands. Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions. Up to moderate seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 2.5 m: The seaboards of La Union and Lubang Islands; the northern seaboard of Pangasinan; the western seaboard of Batangas; the western and southern seaboards of Bataan. Up to 2.0 m: The western seaboard of Occidental Mindoro; the northern and western seaboards of northern Palawan including Calamian Islands; the remaining seaboards of Babuyan Islands and Kalayaan Islands.
