ประเทศไทยมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้นและมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยมีฝนตกหนักมากบางพื้นที่ในภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ประกอบกับร่องมรสุมได้เลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านประเทศเมียนมา ภาคเหนือตอนบนของประเทศไทย ประเทศลาวตอนบน เข้าสู่หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำบริเวณประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน สำหรับคลื่นลมที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนอง รวมทั้งฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสมในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง เรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่งจนถึงวันที่ 3 ก.ค. 69
The moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening while the monsoon through will move down to lie across upper Myanmar, the upper North of Thailand, upper Loas into low-pressure over upper Vietnam. More rain and isolated heavy rain are forecast in Thailand, and isolated very heavy rains are possible in the East and the South (west coast). The rather strong wind and waves in the upper Andaman are expected about 2 - 3 meters high, and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.
