IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

- A strong cold front moving into the region this afternoon and evening will be the focus for widespread thunderstorm development. Storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall in a short amount of time. With recent rains across the region, areas receiving the heaviest rainfall this afternoon and evening may see localized instances of flash flooding. Additionally, thunderstorms may train over the same areas during the evening, particularly near and south of U.S. Highway 50. Should this setup materialize, several instances of flash flooding and river flooding may occur.
