Instructies:

Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

  • WHERE: A portion of southeast South Dakota, including the following counties, Bon Homme, Clay, Davison, Hanson, Hutchinson, McCook, Turner and Yankton.

  • WHEN: Until 1245 PM CDT Monday.

  • IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations continues. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.

    • At 943 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding from earlier heavy rain continues. Between 3 and 9 inches of rain have fallen.
