The new watch is valid for the following areas In Texas the new watch includes 6 counties In southeast Texas Harris Liberty Montgomery Polk San Jacinto Waller This includes the cities of Brookshire, Cleveland, Coldspring, Conroe, Corrigan, Dayton, Hempstead, Houston, Liberty, Livingston, Prairie View, Shepherd, The Woodlands, and Waller.

WHERE: A portion of southeast Texas, including the following areas, Brazos, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery, Northern Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity and Walker.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

- Scattered showers and thunderstorms has developed across the Watch area and will continue into Monday morning. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with isolated higher amounts of 6 inches or more will be possible. Area soils are already saturated due to previous heavy rain events with 1 and 3 hour Flash Flood Guidance around 2 to 3 inches, so the additional heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding.
