ประเทศไทยยังคงมีฝนฟ้าคะนองเกิดขึ้นได้ โดยมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งบริเวณภาคใต้ตอนล่าง เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย ประกอบกับมีหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำปกคลุมประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน สำหรับบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยมีคลื่นสูง 1-2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร อนึ่ง พายุไต้ฝุ่น “เมขลา” บริเวณมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิกหรือด้านตะวันออกของประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ มีแนวโน้มเคลื่อนตัวไปทางตอนใต้ของประเทศญี่ปุ่น โดยพายุนี้ไม่เคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประเทศไทย
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนองและฝนที่ตกสะสมในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง

The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are expected about 2 meters high, 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
