IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 811 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Conroe, Humble, Tomball, The Woodlands, Spring, Kingwood, Oak Ridge North, Panorama Village, Shenandoah, Cut And Shoot, Woodloch, Chateau Woods, The Woodlands Pavillion, Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, Porter Heights, Hooks Airport, northern Bush Intercontinental Airport, Lake Conroe Dam, Atascocita and Lake Houston.

At 631 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

- Some locations that will experience flash flooding include, Montgomery, Dacus and Dobbin.
Rainfall from the previous day resulted in high water along FM 1097, with portions of the roadway along the northeast side of Montgomery washing out. High water was also reported at FM 149 at Little Lake Creek and Lawson Street at Liberty Street. Additional rainfall may exasperate flooding issues at these locations.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
