WHEN: Until 700 AM CDT Friday.

IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 1129 PM CDT, Emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Atkins Creek is reportedly inundating FM 1097 leading to high water along the roadway on the northeast side of Montgomery. High water is also reported at FM 149 at Little Lake Creek and Lawson Street at Liberty Street.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected tonight. Another round of rainfall is on the way on Friday.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Montgomery.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
