Showers and thunderstorms, some of which will produce heavy rainfall, will continue to move through Grant and La Salle Parishes this afternoon and tonight, before diminishing Monday morning. However, additional showers and thunderstorms will move over these areas Monday afternoon and evening, and also pose the threat for heavy rainfall. Additional rainfall amounts of one to three inches, with isolated higher amounts, will be possible through Monday night. Given that grounds remain saturated in wake of recent heavy rainfall, this additional rainfall may run off, and cause flash flooding.
