Strength : Maximum winds of 55 kph near the centerand gustiness of up to 70 kph. Forecast movement : Forecast to move Northwestward at 15 kph Forecast position : Sep 21, 2024 02:00 AM - 610 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes Sep 21, 2024 02:00 PM - 465 km North Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes Sep 22, 2024 02:00 AM - 465 km North of Itbayat, Batanes Sep 22, 2024 02:00 PM - 510 km North of Itbayat, Batanes (Outside PAR) Sep 23, 2024 02:00 AM - 605 km North of Itbayat, Batanes (Outside PAR) HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND AREAS Heavy Rainfall Refer to Weather Advisory No. 41 issued at 5:00 PM today for the heavy rainfall outlook due to the Southwest Monsoon and Tropical Depression IGME. Severe Winds The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction. Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 1. The Southwest Monsoon enhanced by IGME will also bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds): Today: Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, and Bataan. Tomorrow (21 September): Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, and Bataan. Sunday (22 September): Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and Zambales. 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook Moderate to rough seas over the following coastal waters: 1.5 to 3.5 m: The seaboards of Northern and Central Luzon, and the western seaboard Southern Luzon. Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced or operating ill-equipped vessels. Up to moderate seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 2.0 m: The remaining seaboards of the country Mariners of motorbancas and similarly-sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions. TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK IGME is forecast to move generally west northwestward until Sunday morning (22 September) before turning north northeastward for the rest of the forecast period. On the forecast track, a landfall and passage over Taiwan area is not ruled out. IGME may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Sunday. IGME is forecast to remain as a Tropical Depression and may gradually weaken into a Low Pressure Area by Monday (23 September) early morning.

It is moving Northwestward at 15km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED : + **Palawan** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Abongan, Lian, Barbakan, Rizal, Caramay, Langogan, Babuyan, Bacungan, Iwahig Penal, Inagauan, Aborlan, Malatgao, Apurauan, Baton-Baton, Aramaywan, Ihawig, Panitian, Pulot, Lamakan, Kinlugan, Eraan, Tiga Plan, Malabangan, Ilog, Bansang, Conduaga, Culasian, Iwahig (Brookes), Okayan, Canipaan and Busuanga, Coron. + **Oriental Mindoro** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Malaylay-Baco, Pulang Tubig, Mag-asawang Tubig, Butas, Pula, Agsalin, Bansud, Sumagui, Bongabong, Baroc, Bulalacao and Balete. + **Occidental Mindoro** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Abra De Ilog, Caguray, Labangan, Lumintao, Anahawin, Monpong, Amnay, Pola, Pagbahan, Mamburao, Ibod, and Bugsanga-Magbando. + **Marinduque** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Tawiran-Tagum (Marinduque) and Boac. + **Romblon** - All rivers and its tributaries
