The easterly wave move through the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea while the northwesterly wind prevails over the Andaman Sea with heavy rains. The waves in the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People in the South should beware of heavy rains and accumulated rain that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should keep off thundershowers.
