The rather strong monsoon trough lies across the upper North and the upper Northeast into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rain is likely in Thailand and isolated very heavy rain possible in the North, the upper Northeast and the East regions.
People in Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom should beware of heavy to very heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
