  • WHERE: Portions of east central and northeast Nebraska, including the following counties, in east central Nebraska, Butler. In northeast Nebraska, Platte.

  • WHEN: Until 915 PM CDT Monday.

  • IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 937 AM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area along Clear Creek.
    • Some locations that will experience flooding include, mainly rural areas of Northwestern Butler and Southeastern Platte Counties

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
