  • IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 937 AM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area along Clear Creek.
    • Some locations that will experience flooding include, mainly rural areas of Northwestern Butler and Southeastern Platte Counties

Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

    • At 452 AM CDT, River gauge reports along Clear Creek over northern Polk County indicated flooding due to earlier heavy rainfall. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area, but the flood water is expected to gradually recede through the day.
