The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Idaho

Teton River near Driggs affecting Teton County.

  • Warm temperatures will melt high mountain snowpack and increase river flows.

  • WHAT: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

  • WHERE: Teton River near Driggs.

  • WHEN: Until early tomorrow afternoon.

  • IMPACTS: At 4.2 feet, Lowland flooding occurs along the river in the Teton River bottoms from Bates Bridge Sportsman's access down-river to Idaho Highway 33 and further down-river to 1000 North. Some river access boat ramps will be under water. Water may cover a portion of 600 South or North Cedron Road.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 12:00 PM MDT Friday the stage was 4.3 feet.
    • Recent Activity: The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:00 PM MDT Friday was 4.3 feet.
    • Forecast: The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 2.8 feet Monday, June 24.
    • Flood stage is 4.2 feet.
    • Flood History: This crest compares to a previous crest of 4.3 feet on 06/19/1974.
