The strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to 2-4 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. The wind and wave in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are likely 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.
People in thease areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the water ways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boat in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should keep ashore.
