What a mystical and majestic sight taken by Erwin Gubler! This enchanting scene captures a moment from a hillside in Muotathal, Switzerland. The sun's rays permeate the cloud cover, creating a breathtaking spectacle for the observer. Such occurrences typically take place when humidity is high, causing the incoming sunlight to be reflected or scattered by individual water molecules. Intriguingly, the hillside featured in the photograph bears the name "Hellberg", which translates to "bright mountain" in German. When looking at this picture, one finds that the mountain's name aptly depicts the prevailing weather conditions.
