A great amount of fresh snow fell in the mountains of Andorra, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and Germany in the last few days and the snowfall will not stop.

Above 1500m height 20 to 40 cm of snow has accumulated due to intense precipitation. More snow is expected in the following days - til the weekend the snow cover can partly grow to one meter.
