STORM INFORMATION: At 2 PM ChST,the center of Typhoon Sinlaku (04W) was located near latitude 17.4N,longitude 144.5E. This was about 90 miles west of Alamagan, 95 miles west-southwest of Pagan, 120 miles southwest of Agrihan, 175 miles north-northwest of Saipan and Tinian, and 270 miles north of Guam. Storm motion was north, 355 degrees, at 4 mph. Storm intensity was 115 mph.

SITUATION OVERVIEW: The eye of Typhoon Sinlaku (04W) is moving slowly north and the eye is well north-northwest of Tinian and Saipan. Latest satellite imagery indicates that the storm center has just begun to shift toward the north-northeast.
