Official warning explanations:
Maximum temperatures ranging from the low to high thirties with overnight minimum temperatures in the high teens to mid twenties. Severe heatwave conditions will continue to ease over southern and western parts and is expected to ease throughout by early next week. Locations likely to be impacted include Bundaberg, Cooktown, Gladstone, Hope Vale, Ingham, Rockhampton and Yeppoon.
