Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, showers and northwest to westerly winds are expected during Thursday and Friday. Areas likely to be affected include the South West forecast district and parts of the North Central, North East, Central and West and South Gippsland forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
For areas above 1200 metres: DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts of around 110 km/h are expected to continue Friday morning. BLIZZARD conditions are also possible this morning Friday.
