Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and westerly winds are expected during Thursday night and Friday. Areas likely to be affected include the Upper Derwent Valley forecast district and parts of the Midlands and South East forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts of around 100 km/h are forecast for far southern parts of the state. DAMAGING WINDS are expected to ease early on Friday morning, though conditions remain breezy throughout the remainder of Friday. Locations which may be affected include Dover.
