ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 909 PM MST, emergency management reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding, road closures, and elevated flow in washes in the advisory area. Heed road closures due to flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Sierra Vista, Benson, Whetstone, Huachuca City, St. David, Tombstone, Dragoon, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Fort Huachuca, Mescal, Fairbank, Charleston and Texas Canyon.
- This includes the following highways, Route 90 between mile markers 290 and 327. Route 80 between mile markers 293 and 326. Route 92 between mile markers 322 and 324. Interstate 10 between mile markers 298 and 325. Route 82 between mile markers 48 and 67.

WHEN: Through Tuesday evening. The greatest risk is Monday afternoon and evening and again Tuesday afternoon and evening.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, dry washes, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- The combination of ample moisture across southeast Arizona and an upper-level disturbance moving into the area from New Mexico today will result in widespread showers and thunderstorms, especially south and east of Tucson. These storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall, with localized rainfall amounts between 1 and 3 inches. Given how saturated soils are across the area from storms over the past week, there is an increased potential for rainfall runoff to produce flash flooding.
