  • WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

  • WHERE: A portion of south central Minnesota, including the following counties, Faribault, Freeborn and Martin.

  • WHEN: Until 700 AM CDT Sunday.

  • IMPACTS: Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 414 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring.
    • Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
    • Some locations that will experience flooding include, Albert Lea, Fairmont, Blue Earth, Wells, Winnebago, Sherburn, Truman, Trimont, Clarks Grove, Minnesota Lake, Welcome, Elmore, Alden, Glenville, Geneva, Emmons, Ceylon, Bricelyn, Hartland and London.
