Water levels have already crested at the Middle Fork Koyukuk and Slate Creek gages along the Dalton Highway corridor while the South Fork Koyukuk is nearing its crest. This high water is making its way downstream towards Bettles/Evansville and Allakaket along the Koyukuk River.
