WHAT,Air Quality Health Advisory for Wildfire Smoke.
WHERE,Moffat, Rio Blanco, Routt, Jackson, Grand, Larimer and Boulder Counties. Locations include, but are not limited to Craig, Meeker, Rangely, Steamboat Springs, Walden, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Fort Collins and Boulder.
WHEN,500 AM Monday August 03 to 900 AM Tuesday August 04
IMPACTS,Areas of moderate to heavy smoke from out-of-state wildfires will be possible within the advisory area through at least Tuesday morning.
HEALTH INFORMATION,Public Health Recommendations: Increasing likelihood of respiratory symptoms in sensitive individuals, aggravation of heart or lung disease and premature mortality in people with cardiopulmonary disease and older adults. WHEN,400 PM Monday August 03 to 400 PM Tuesday August 04
IMPACTS,Action Day for Multiple Pollutants is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Increasing wildfire smoke will result in fine particulate concentrations reaching the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category throughout the northern Front Range region. Additionally, ozone could reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category during the afternoons and evenings. For Colorado air quality conditions, forecasts, and advisories, visit: https://www.colorado.gov/airquality/colorado_summary.aspx If possible, please help us reduce ozone pollution by limiting driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles until at least 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
