  • WHAT: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

  • WHERE: Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier.

  • WHEN: Until early Saturday morning.

  • IMPACTS: At 5.0 feet, Water is about two feet over portions of Four Oaks Ranch Road.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 10:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 4.5 feet.
    • Recent Activity: The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:15 AM CDT Wednesday was 4.5 feet.
    • Forecast: The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Friday morning and continue falling to 3.7 feet Monday morning.
    • Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
