The Chongqing Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Command, Chongqing Emergency Management Bureau, Chongqing Forestry Bureau, and Chongqing Meteorological Bureau jointly issued the "Forest and Grassland Fire Orange Warning Signal" at 12:00 on September 2, 2026. 35 districts and counties in our city, including Liangjiang New Area, Dadukou, Shapingba, Jiulongpo, Nan an, Beibei, Banan, High tech Zone, Tongnan, Hechuan, Tongliang, Dazu, Rongchang, Yongchuan, Bishan, Jiangjin, Qijiang, Wansheng, Nanchuan, Changshou, Fuling, Dianjiang, Fengdu, Liangping, Zhongxian, Wanzhou, Kaizhou, Yunyang, Fengjie, Wuxi, Wushan, Wulong, Pengshui, Shizhu, Qianjiang, etc., have experienced high forest and grassland fire danger meteorological levels. It is expected that from September 2nd to 9th, the above-mentioned districts and counties will continue to have high or extremely high forest and grassland fire risk meteorological levels, and the risk of forest and grassland fires is high.
