  • WHAT: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

  • WHERE: Portions of north central and northwest Ohio, including the following counties, in north central Ohio, Crawford, Erie and Huron. In northwest Ohio, Hancock, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Wood and Wyandot.

  • WHEN: Through this afternoon.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • Rain moving through Northwest Ohio early this morning will bring up to one inch of new rainfall to the region. Additional efficient, heavy rain is expected to develop later this morning bringing an additional inch or two of rain to the area. Locally higher amounts of rain are possible, especially where rain trains over the same locations. This next round of rainfall could cause flash flooding, especially in low-lying and flood-prone locations.
