Snow covered roads above 400 metres will make driving conditions dangerous during Tuesday afternoon in parts of the Central Plateau, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rainfall and strong westerly winds are expected during Tuesday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the South East forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
