The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Tennessee

Cumberland River At Nashville affecting Davidson County.

Cumberland River At Hunters Point affecting Sumner, Wilson and Trousdale Counties.

Cumberland River At Omohundro Water Plant affecting Davidson County.

Cumberland River Near Edenwold affecting Davidson County.

For the Cumberland River,including Hunters Point, Edenwold, Hermitage, Pennington Bend, Omohundro Water Plant, Nashville, Bordeaux, Clarksville, Dover,elevated river levels are forecast.

  • WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

  • WHERE: Cumberland River at Omohundro Water Plant.

  • WHEN: Until further notice.

  • IMPACTS: At 38.0 feet, Shelby Bottoms Park begins to be inundated near the ball fields, and portions of the greenway trail may be impassable. Water begins to back up Mill Creek and is inundating low lying areas near Lebanon Pike. At 40.0 feet, Portions of Shelby Bottoms Park are inundated, mainly near the ball fields and along the greenway trails near the river. Water begins to approach properties adjacent to the river on Davidson St, Nestor St, and Visco Dr.

    • At 5:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 39.6 feet and falling.

  • IMPACTS: At 34.0 feet, Water reaches the second grassy area of the riverfront landing and covers most of the recreation areas on the east side of the river near Nissan Stadium. At 35.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river from the I-24 bridge to the I-65 bridge are significantly inundated, including riverfront recreation areas and access points near Nissan Stadium. Industrial properties along the river should monitor further increases in river levels.

    • At 5:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 35.7 feet and falling.
    • Forecast: The river is expected to fall to 25.2 feet early Wednesday afternoon.
    • Action stage is 30.0 feet.
    • Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
