  • WHERE: A portion of the northern Piedmont and northern Coastal Plain in central North Carolina, including the following counties: Alamance, Durham, Forsyth, Granville, Guilford, Halifax, Orange, Person, Vance and Warren.

  • WHEN: From 9 AM EDT this morning through Thursday evening.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • Waves of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain will focus along a slow-moving cold front and produce 2 to 4 inches of rain, with locally higher amounts, today through Thursday evening.
