  • WHAT: The warm air temerpatures in the upper 60s to low 70s may cause people to underestimate the dangers of the cold water temperatures which are currently only in the mid 40s.

  • WHERE: Coastal Hancock and Coastal Washington Counties.

  • WHEN: From Friday morning through Friday evening.

  • IMPACTS: The cold temperatures can quickly cause hypothermia to anyone immersed in the water. Anyone on boast of paddle craft should use extreme caution to avoid this threat.
