  • The current south swell continues to generate surf at High Surf Advisory threshold. While this advisory expires after tonight, another south swell expected to peak late Saturday into Sunday will boost surf heights above advisory threshold again.
  • WHAT: Surf 7 to 10 feet.

  • WHERE: South facing shores of Kahoolawe, Kauai, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Niihau, Oahu and the Big Island.

  • WHEN: Until 6 AM HST Saturday.

  • IMPACTS: Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
