  • At 649 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have quickly fallen over some locations during the past hour and additional heavy rainfall is expected as thunderstorms move northeastward into the warned area from the Gulf. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
