KEY POINTS, NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES. HEAVIEST RAIN SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY. RAIN PERSISTS THROUGH WEDNESDAY. 24 HOUR TOTALS NEAR 2-3 INCHES ARE FORECASTED. 3 DAY TOTALS NEAR 4 TO 7 INCHES ANTICIPATED AT SEA LEVEL. DETAILS: A STRONGER ATMOSPHERIC RIVER WILL MAKE LANDFALL STARTING SUNDAY EVENING, BRINGING ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAINFALL LASTING UNTIL TUESDAY WITH PERSISTENT MODERATE RAINFALL INTO WEDNESDAY. GREATEST ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PANHANDLE, ESPECIALLY ALONG THE COAST MOUNTAINS. FOR COMMUNITIES AT SEA LEVEL, EXPECT MULTIPLE DAYS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL. HIGHER TOTALS AT ELEVATION ARE ANTICIPATED WHICH WILL ENHANCE RUNOFF. WINDS WILL ALSO INCREASE, WITH THE OPEN WATERS OF THE SOUTHERN INNER CHANNELS SEEING 35 MILES PER HOUR OF SUSTAINED SOUTHERLY WIND. FOR LAND BASED AREAS, EXPECTING GUSTS TO 40 MILES PER HOUR IN HIGHER TERRAIN. STRONGEST WINDS OVERNIGHT SUNDAY INTO MONDAY, WITH WINDS DIMINISHING BY EARLY TUESDAY. COORDINATION WITH THE RIVER FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS RISES IN SMALLER STREAMS AND CREEKS BUT LARGER RIVERS LOOK TO REMAIN WELL BELOW FLOOD STAGE FOR THIS EVENT.
