DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts around 100 km/h are possible about the northeastern Victorian alpine areas above 1500 m from the late afternoon. Winds may ease for a period during Sunday morning, before restrengthening during Sunday afternoon. Locations which may be affected include Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Mt Buller.
