Rain bearing clouds are currently sighted over the country.These clouds are expected to give heavy rains which may lead to floods in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory,Niger, Nassarawa,Plateau,Kogi,Kwara,Ekiti,Ondo,Oyo,Osun,Ogun, Lagos,Edo,Kano, Katsina, Zamfara, Kaduna,Kebbi,Sokoto and Taraba states.
Driving under heavy rains should be avoided. Disconnect electrical equipments from electrical sockets. Stay away from tall trees to avoid being hit by broken trees and branches. States with emergency response for floods should activate.
