River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours.

  • WHAT: Minor flooding is forecast.

  • WHERE: Missouri River at St. Charles.

  • WHEN: From this evening to early Tuesday afternoon.

  • IMPACTS: At 25.0 feet, Downstream near this stage, Missouri Route H at Island Road and agricultural bottomland may begin flooding, depending on Mississippi River flow and backwater.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 9:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 24.8 feet.
    • Forecast: The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 25.1 feet late tonight.
    • Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
