Official warning explanations:

The Suzhou Meteorological Observatory issued an orange high-temperature warning signal at 11:09 am on June 23, 2024. Within 24 hours, the highest temperature in most townships (streets) in the main urban area of Sucheng and Yongqiao districts of our city, as well as in most townships (streets) in Dangshan County, Xiao County, Lingbi County, and Si County, will rise to over 37 ℃. Please take precautions!

Instructions:

1. The government and relevant departments shall implement heatstroke prevention and cooling measures in accordance with their responsibilities. 2. Try to avoid outdoor activities during high temperature periods, and personnel working under high temperature conditions should shorten their continuous working hours. 3. Provide guidance on heatstroke prevention and cooling for the elderly, weak, sick, and young population, and take necessary protective measures. 4. Carry out high-temperature fire hazard investigation and pay attention to the safety of fire and electricity use. 5. Try to minimize outdoor activities for the public in the afternoon.
