HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR SOUTH FACING SHORES OF ALL HAWAIIAN ISLANDS UNTIL 6 PM HST SATURDAY

  • Rough conditions are expected along south facing shores today due to a combination of moderate to breezy onshore winds and a long-period south-southwest swell peaking. This swell will linger through the day Saturday, with the winds shifting back out of the east to southeast direction.
  • WHAT: Surf of 7 to 10 feet.

  • WHERE: South-facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands.

  • WHEN: Until 6 PM HST Saturday.

  • IMPACTS: Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
