At 17:29 on September 20, 2026, the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau of Zhuxi County and the Zhuxi County Meteorological Bureau jointly issued a yellow warning signal for geological disaster meteorological risks: Since September 16, our county has experienced continuous rainy weather, with an average surface rainfall of 62.5 millimeters as of 17:20 on the 20th. Among the 63 automatic meteorological stations, 47 stations have accumulated rainfall exceeding 50 millimeters, and 10 stations have accumulated rainfall exceeding 70 millimeters. The maximum accumulated rainfall is 89.4 millimeters in Longwangya. It is expected that the rainy weather in our county will continue for the next week. Given the prolonged rainy weather in this round and the high water saturation of the soil and rock masses in the county, there is a high risk of geological disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and other meteorological hazards in various towns and villages (Level 3 warning). It is requested that all towns and relevant departments attach great importance to these risks and focus on key areas such as geological hazard hidden danger points, high and steep slopes, highway routes, slope cutting and building sites, construction in progress, tourist attractions, schools, hospitals, and welfare institutions. Efforts should be made to strengthen inspection, monitoring, warning, and personnel transfer in advance, continuously enhance duty and information reporting, and do a good job in geological disaster prevention and emergency response.
